micah LOVES movies and music. ask him about any movie or song and he can probably tell you all about the plot line or who sings it. it's amazing. he's full of semi-useless knowledge like that and i hope jonas inherits the skillz.
what are your favorite movies that you can watch over and over?
here's my list:
Breakfast at Tiffany's (inspired by her sleeping mask),
Mary Poppins (need a nanny like this one),
Overboard (best ever goldie hawn!!),
Romancing the Stone (LOVE IT),
all Indiana Jones movies (favorite part the sacrifice of the still-beating heart),
Parent Trap (older version better but still like the Li-Lo version),
and...
the trifecta of forbidden movies that as a pre-teen I would sneak and watch over and over whenever my parents would leave me home alone forwarding of course to the most lewd, salacious, and unchaste parts:
Dirty Dancing ("nobody puts Baby in a corner!")
Pretty Woman (love the bathtub scene with Prince "Kiss" song)
Top Gun (umm, TC in humidity with a sexy sheen in a tight white tee shirt on a hawg!)

Yes, as crazy as he is now....it is hard not to lust over TC in Top Gun! One of my faves is the ever sappy and sweet..."Steel Magnolias". I also love the Star Wars movies...they are just timeless! And I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings Trilogy as well. And a somewhat recent movie that I could watch over and over, is "Little Miss Sunshine".
i have a hard time watching movies more than once, but i recently had to list my top 5 movies (so hopefully this counts too=): a mighty wind, je taime paris, lord of the rings trilogy, any hitchcock, amelie. eclectic and random.
