i know, i've been absent of late. i'm so sorry. i have not one but TWO great excuses:
first, i finally finished and successfully defended my dissertation. the last step in the graduate school process. my defense went really well and now all i have left is to print and bind four copies of the manuscript and finish out my internship (it ends mid-August)!
second, i have been really sick for the last... ummm.... about eight weeks. really sick. it can only mean one thing. yup. we are expecting. we are very excited about our arrival in october but getting through this first 12 weeks has been rough on all of us. i was sick until about 14 weeks with jonas so we're praying that we're almost through the icky part.
so i've been busy, exhausted, and nauseated. pretty good excuses for not blogging. i promise to try to keep up. i have been keeping up with all of you by reading your posts! miss you all!

Congrats on finishing the dissertation- wow and expecting another little one is such great news!! I'm sure the second trimester will have you feeling like a new woman!! The count down is on for the final day of your internship!!
whoa. i don't even know what to say. this is all so huge bobbi jo! you are an amazing woman to be taking this all on! and congrats! i honestly have never met anyone who has done all this. toddler, grad school, pregnancy. dude. what do you eat, don't eat, do, exercise, ?????? what is your formula here? cannot compute!
so excited for all 3 of you (and soon to be 4)!!! what a joy that you are graduating and getting a new little person in your life all at once. i am praying you feel better soon as that is more than rough. love you friend.
